So Sorry!

September 9, 2008

Well I thought I should come in here and appologise for having taken me so long to get back on. I have had a fair bit going on in my personal life and have just started getting back into the swing of things.

So, the mini catalogue is definitely here now and it is very scrummy. You can take a look at it here – http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=shopmain&fsid=38adc19c-059a-44a2-9e42-fb991a580467&storeid=1039381&circularid=13693

This catalogue is available until the end of November when it will retire. We also are running the free wheelin promotion this month where you can buy a stamp set and get a coordinating wheel free. I know !! It’s a great deal isn’t it! If you wish to find out what sets this includes or anything else about it feel free to contact me.

Now, because i haven’t posted in a while i will show you three cards and i will try and make a few more over the next few days to make it up to you.

This first one is using Bloomin’ With Beauty and is from the Spring mini. I have waterecoloured this using markes and an aqua pen.

This one is using the Loads of Love stamp set and some of our Designer paper using a paper piecing technique.

This last one is using Touch of Nature stamp set and watercolouring with blender pens and ink pads.

I hope you like them and like i asid i will try to upload some more over the next few days. If you have any questions about how i have made any of the cards drop me a line and i will answer your questions.

It’s Coming…

July 20, 2008

The new mini catalogue will be available to purchase from on the 1st of August. I have to say this is the nicest mini catalogue I have seen yet. I love the sets in there and I’m sure you will too. Here is a sneak peak for you of a card I have made using the stamp set Always featuring in the mini. So what do you think?I really like this set and It comes with 11 stamps so there’s plenty of different things you can do with it. Now i have used Lovely Lilac, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black and Green Galore ink for this card and sponged the different colours onto my hearts. I am looking foward to being able to show more from the mini catalogue, and if you’d like your very own copy email me at tonilockyer@bigpond.com

Here are a few other cards for you to look at too.

Okay so that’s it for today, hope you like the cards I have uploaded. If you have any questions about the cards I have made leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Have a great night.

A Promo For You!

July 7, 2008

If you have EVER thought of joining Stampin’ Up! now is the perfect time. Why you ask? Well, not only do we offer fantastic product at great prices, but we also offer lots of incentives. This promotion is one of those. Until the 15th of August you can join for $299. That’s $25 off the normal joining price but you still get the same value of over $560. It was in May last year that this same promotion was on and i decided to join. I have never regretted it. I love what i do and love sharing ideas and teaching people. I especially love it when someone tells me that they aren’t crafty, make something and feel happy that they did it because they made something themselves.

If you would love more information about this fantastic opportunity then feel free to drop me a line at tonilockyer@bigpond.com

OMG I Scrapped!!

July 7, 2008

Well I can’t believe it. I scrapped. For the first time in a very long time, and it felt good! Before i joined Stampin’ Up!, I only scrapbooked. I was never a card maker until i found these wonderful products. So the layout i made was of my youngest son who is two now! Where on Earth does the time go? A couple of months ago i got myself a new DSLR camera and the photos that i used in my LO are some of my first ever photos with it. I have used only Stampin’ Up! products for this page but have to admit to tracing the arrows from buzz and bloom.

The colours aren’t so great sorry, I got impatient and had to photograph it tonight instead of waiting for nice natural light. So the colours used on this page is white, black, Real Red textured card, Petals and Paisley PP and Jersey Shore PP. I used Brilliant Blue and Real Red ink, my Basic Black marker and White signo pen. I also used my Big Deal Alphabet and my Boho Backgrounds stamp sets.

Let me know if you like it. I might even have to try a few more pages in the near future. I find scrapbooking very therapuetic.

A Swap

June 13, 2008

Well i haven’t done much lately sorry. We have had so much going on in the family and it has kind of just put a halt on everything at the moment. Anyhoo, i have a picture of a card i made for a swap recently. I really think Fabulous Flowers is one of my very favourite stamp sets. I would love to hear what your favourite stamp set is out of the catalogue.

Well i hope you like it and i will try to get some more done soon. I pick up my new bronc buster set on the weekend so no doubt i will have something new to show you with that.

Leave a comment if there is anything you’d love to see in action, or would like to see me show, or do a tutorial for and i’ll see what i can do :)

Nothing Like A Cyberstamp…

May 15, 2008

…to get the mojo happening again. I haven’t really created much lately due to “life” being as busy as it can, but lastnight we had a team cyberstamp. This card was created as part of a sketch challenge and i kinda like it, which is good i guess LOL.

For this card i used my Fabulous Flowers stamp set as i really like this one at the moment, and my Baroque Motifs, another fav. The colours used were choc chip, close to cocoa, very vanilla and soft sky.

I used the soft sky and choc chip ink and used sponges to ink my edges as well as my fav tool at the moment, my edge distresser. The half back pearls are from my pretties kit ( gotta love it ), and i used crystal effects to adhere them on.

Hope you like it. I did have another one  to upload but i can’t for the life of me figure out where i saved it LOL. I will have to re add it to my comp methinks.

Anyhoo, have a good night

Wanted

April 21, 2008

When i was growing up, all i ever wanted was a horse. I used to go to a family friends house to help her feed her horses and take care of them once a fortnight, although i was never able to ride them. As soon as the wanted set was released by Stampin’ Up! i just knew i had to get it.

Here is my first creation with it.I used some of our Outlaw double sided patterned paper for the backround. I love the Outlaw paper! I also used choc chip and very vanilla cardstock.I used my distresser tool from my cutter kit to age the edges of the paper and all my cardstock and then inked the edges of  my cardstock and paper with choc chip ink. I used a stamp from the baroque motifs stamp to add to the top and bottom of my card in choc chip and used my cropadile to add my jumbo pewter eyelet. I Also used my weathered background stamp over my horses.I Hope you like it.

Unfrogettable

April 21, 2008

Well, i wasn’t going to upload anything today as i have spent forever trying to get this up and running, but i just had to christen my new blog with a new card. This little guy is from the Unfrogettable set and he is so cute don’t you think?

I’ve used choc chip stamped with the weathered background stamp as the base, old olive has been stamped onto with versamark and the little dragonfly that came with the set. I used stazon on the whisper white so that my image wouldn’t bleed . Now to stamp my frog on top of my toadstool i used a technique called masking. This meant that i stamped an extra frog on spare paper and cut around his feet. I then covered over my first frog on whisper white with my cut out frog and held it there while i stamped my toadstool in stazon.I  then used the blender pen to pick up ink from my stampin’ spots to colour my frog and toadstool in. I also added some vintage brads just to add a bit extra to it.

A New Home

April 20, 2008

Okay, so i know i didn’t post the picture of the new catty, but, i found a new home for my blog. What do you think? Now that i have this one i can do more than on my old one, i just have to figure it all out LOL.

So over there—–> under the links section, is the link to the brand new catalogue. Go on, take a look, i promise you’ll love it!

I also now have a Flickr section which will enable you to look at my cards/ scrapbook pages as i upload them. I will still post them here, but if you don’t want to go searching through posts to look at projects etc, then you can click on there and have a browse.

Please let me know what you think, I have been humming and ahhing for a few days now as to what to do with this, so let me know if you like it or not.
